2008 Golden Lantern Award
Migrant Health Promotion is excited to request nominations for the annual Golden Lantern Promotor(a) Program Award. The 2008 Golden Lantern Award will recognize the work of an innovative and effective Promotor(a) program in the MIDWESTERN migrant stream region. The Golden Lantern recipient will be honored at the 2008 Midwest Stream Farmworker Health Forum in New Orleans.
The name "Golden Lantern" was chosen by the Promotoras of Migrant Health Promotion. They believe the award reflects the ability of Promotores(as) to "show the way" to good health and health care for their communities. To nominate a Promotor(a) program in the Midwestern stream, please download and complete the Nomination Form.
