Designing, implementing and evaluating a Promotor(a) program is an exciting challenge. To support this work, Migrant Health Promotion offers free and low-cost assistance on a variety of topics. With over 20 years of experience, we can help you start a new program or provide ideas and strategies to invigorate an existing program.
Migrant Health Promotion offers phone, email and in-person consultation and training. Our facilitators use adult education and Popular Education methods to make learning fun, memorable and a vehicle for social justice. Experienced Promotores and Promotoras and representatives of other organizations co-facilitate with Migrant Health Promotion staff, ensuring that training is relevant to the Promotores(as) and to the community.
